Terms, Scope & Cancellation

What this service is

Vector Ascend provides enterprise technical advisory, architecture reviews and fractional executive leadership for startups and mid-market companies. It does not provide legal advice, investment advice, financial planning, psychotherapy or medical treatment.

Booking and payment

• Paid sessions are confirmed once payment is received and the time slot is confirmed on the scheduling page.
• Indian residents are billed in INR; everyone else is billed in USD. Checkout is processed by Dodo Payments, with Stripe and Razorpay as fallback processors.
• Qualification inquiries and discovery calls are complimentary and do not require payment.

Rescheduling and cancellation

• You may reschedule a session free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice.
• Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed, are treated as delivered.
• For fixed-scope sprints and retainers, unused working sessions may be rescheduled within the agreed window; the window is not extended beyond 30 days past the original end date unless both parties agree in writing.

Refunds

A paid Architectural Deep Dive may be refunded in full if cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled time. Refunds are returned through the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days. Sprint and retainer commercial terms are confirmed in a separate statement of work.

Confidentiality

Engagement content is confidential in both directions. Sessions are not recorded unless both parties agree in advance.

Your responsibility

Advisory work supports technical and organizational decisions; it does not guarantee a specific commercial outcome, funding event, uptime target or vendor-review result. Decisions and implementation remain yours.
